ADVANCED CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT (ACLS)
This course is for healthcare professionals who direct or manage cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies; personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units; physicians, nurses, and paramedics; and others who need an ACLS course completion card to job or other requirements. ACLS is an advanced course that builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR, and high-performance team dynamics.
BLS certification is not required to attend ACLS. It is recommended to have a working knowledge of BLS, basic rhythm interpretation, and pharmacology before class.
Students are responsible for providing their textbook or e-manual for class. No student shall be allowed to attend without a textbook or e-Manual and you will forfeit your deposit. E-manuals are recommended, as you will have instant access.
Upon enrollment for an in-person class, you will be emailed the link to the pre-course assessment and work to complete before class. This is free of charge. Please bring the certificate of completion to class. If you do not have your certificate, you will not be allowed to attend class and forfeit your deposit for class.
Manuals are recommended but not required for the online Heartcode courses.
